Nightfall Claims Top Spot for Asmodians

If it wasn't clear before, it is now. Nightfall is now the leading Asmodian legion on Azphel. In the past week, we have downed more server-first Asmodian bosses including Henchman Ladun, Captain Lahbri, Masto the Ancient, and Grand Chieftain Kasika. Unfortunately, the majority of these boss kills resulted in zero loot!

In addition to the PvE, Nightfall has now captured two of the Lower Abyss fortresses in the past few days, Sulfur Fortress and Siel's Western Fortress. However, we could not have done it without the help of the Asmodian faction, so a big thank you and congratulations goes out to all of the Asmodians who helped during both sieges.

Nightfall - Off to a Good Start!

It's been almost 2 weeks since Aion's headstart began and so far we have been performing exceptionally well. Zephir, our uber Sorcerer, is tied with Keeblur as the highest levels on the server. The majority of our guild is also now 35 or higher. Meaning, we can finally begin knocking out some raid bosses.

I shall skip the Fire Temple, as that is a waste-of-time instance. The XP sucks and you have to waste hours on runs to ever get anything to drop. Nonetheless, we have cleared it our fair share of times only to come out with a few greens.

Onto more important events, we were able to down two bosses tonight with server first kills: the dreaded King Consierd of the Salintus Desert and Frostmane Lestin from Mist Mane Village. After a few wipes from figuring out the fight's mechanics, we downed both with less than 18 people and the majority of the raid around Level 35.

Congrats to Shouri on Bitter Ice Necklace, Memorie on Bitter Ice Ring, and Phd on the beautiful Ice Storm Chain Hood from Frostmane Lestin!

Congrats to... nobody on nothing from King Consierd!

Hopefully in the next week, we will find a new boss to down and will have some loot to show for it. The above two are now on farm status.

Close of Open Beta

Open Beta was quite successful for Nightfall. For leveling, we had the first 3 Level 30 Asmodians on the server. For PvP, we held off KoS for the top spot in Abyss Points. And for PvE, we downed King Zugog many times, defeated Chieftain Kumbaron of Ice Claw Village, and cleared out the Fire Temple. Overall, it was a very successful Open Beta and we are more prepared than ever for release.
